School to School Support Offer

 

As an experienced Head Teacher, Local Leader of Education, London Challenge Advisor and former Ofsted Inspector, Simon has much experience of working with schools in difficult circumstances across several London Boroughs. 

Simon is able to support school leaders in effective school improvement planning, strategic leadership development, the development of teaching across the school and mentoring of school leaders (including Head Teachers and aspiring leaders).

Leadership Support, EYFS Development, Phonics & Basic Skills

Lisa Humpheryes is a highly experienced LA moderator for the EYFS and an outstanding practitioner. Lisa has modelled lessons for Jolly Learning to use as exemplar materials for the training and delivery of synthetic phonics  to EYFS and KS1 practitioners from around the world and supported the development of EYFS provision through training, in other schools.

As Senior Deputy, Lisa has experience of developing the teaching of synthetic phonics at Rush Green and in her previous setting. Lisa has also had experience of supporting synthetic phonics development in other schools, including those in difficulty. Lisa is also a Basic Skills Assessor and an NPQML trainer. 

Lisa is happy to train staff, support/mentor leaders and advise on curriculum development.

CPD / Teaching / Curriculum Development
 
Andrew has a wealth of experience in teaching, leading, mentoring and coaching staff. He has taught across KS1 and KS2 being judged as an outstanding practitioner by Ofsted and external consultants. 
Andrew is an experienced KS1 SATS moderator; he holds the qualification for headship (NPQH) and has worked with many teachers and leaders across schools to improve teaching and the outcomes for their pupils. 
He has experience of leading on curriculum development and policy implementation and has devised and delivered bespoke CPD packages for this and other schools.
He is an accredited trainer for the Improving and Outstanding Teacher Programmes which are recognised by the National
College and the London Challenge programmes.

Mathematics Development & Mathematics Mastery

Amy Jenkins is an SLE for mathematics  (Specialist Leader in Education) and has supported staff developing maths curricula and pedagogy in several schools, including here at Rush Green Primary School. 

Amy is able to advise and support staff across the Primary age range but most of her experience lies with junior aged pupils.

As a leading practitioner, Amy is currently working with the Primary Mastery Specialist Programme and is aiming to set up a Maths Mastery Hub at Rush Green in the next term or so. 

Maths mastery has been the focus of Amy's work for the last year or so and she has a successful track record in this area.

TA Training and Development

Christine Strizovic is a consultant Teaching Assistant trainer and course developer for the NCFE. In the past, Christine has worked on the London Challenge Keys to Success programme, supporting staff development in struggling schools and developing best working practices between teachers and teaching assistants.

Christine has many years experience of working as a TA in an outstanding school where she was recognised as an outstanding practitioner in her own right. Since then, she has worked at Rush Green Primary School to develop the TA role. 

Bespoke CPD for Schools

Christine is able to offer bespoke school packages for TA development. This can be for new or experienced TAs (individuals and groups). 

Teaching Assistant Training

For those interested in becoming a TA We are also able to offer accredited in-school training, through the National College of Further Education.

Christine and the team are able to train TAs to NVQ2/3 and to the Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
