Count On Us Maths Challenge
Rush Green Primary School has been successful in our bid to enter the London Mayor's 'Count On Us!' Maths Challenge.
On May 1st we took a team of young mathematicians from Years 4 and 5 to the City Hall to compete in a range of problem solving activities against schools from across the London.
On Friday 27th March, almost 70 children from Years 4 and 5 were invited to take part in our own 'Count On Us!' challenge. The children thoroughly enjoyed it as the video to the right shows! There was a fantastic buzz, especially during the '24' round,w here the children had to use the four digits to make a total of 24, using any of the four operations.
Watch the video to see what happened.
Well done to all of the children who took part. In the end it was very difficult to select just 3 pupils, but the following children were selected to represent our school in May:
Izzie (class 4W)
Theo (class 5CL)
Angel (class 5J)
