Useful Maths Websites
The following links will take you to a variety of Maths websites which the Maths team feel might be useful. Please do let us know of any others which you recommend, or if any of the links don't work.
'nrich' is a Maths website which focuses entirely on problem solving. It is used in Maths throughout our school, but can also be accessed at home. There are always 'live' problems which the children can try to solve and submit their solutions online.
'Maths is fun' can be very useful for providing demonstrations and examples of how to perform different calculations. It also has a wide range of activities you can print out for children to complete.
Children in every year group from Year 1 up to Year 6 have been given a username and password for 'ttrockstars'. This allows them to play times table games - the quicker they answer, the better their character! Children across the school love using this website both at home and in school.
Maths Playground has a huge number of interactive games covering most areas of Mathematics.
TopicBox is simply a website with links to educational games and resources. Children can think about the topic they are studying in maths and other subjects and find relevant activities to complete.
