Our outstanding school was recently described by Ofsted (2025) as being an ‘extraordinary place’ and that we ‘place no limits on what pupils can achieve’. The school\u2019s motto of \u2018Strive to Succeed\u2019 is fully realised in our work and we demonstrate the highest ambition in the pursuit of excellence. We are five time winners of The London Mayor’s Schools’ For Success Award and we have been shortlisted twice for the Pearson ‘School of The Year – Making a Difference’ award.<\/strong><\/h3>

We are fiercely proud of our school, the pupils, our staff and the community that we work in close partnership with. Our high aspirations begin in the early years, where children receive remarkable learning experiences, including learning to read musical notation in the Reception Year. These aspirations continue so that across the school, pupils achieve exceptionally well, including in national assessments. Year on year, our performance statistics are significantly above national averages.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>

Our work on pupils\u2019 personal development has also been described by Ofsted as exceptional. The \u2018Rush Green Promise\u2019 includes the deliberate planning of memorable visits and experiences, allowing pupils to connect thoroughly with their learning. Pupils also relish taking on leadership opportunities which we provide.<\/strong><\/h3>

Our pupils\u2019 behaviour and attitudes to learning are exemplary. They are professional in their approach to learning. They work hard, attend very well and show a genuine desire to succeed. Pupils are confident and articulate, and develop the knowledge and skills to become well-rounded individuals.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>

By the time our children are ready to leave, they are ready to make a difference in the community and they are very well prepared for the next stage of their education. Many of our children go on to grammar schools and several have been enrolled on scholarships to fee paying schools such as Forest, Brentwood and Lord Wandsworth.<\/strong><\/h3>
