We aim to deliver a high quality history education that develops pupils into mini historians, who gain coherent knowledge and understanding of Britain’s past and that of the wider world. It should inspire pupils’ curiosity to know more about the past. History lessons should equip the pupils to ask questions, think critically, weigh evidence, use sources and develop perspective and judgements.

History at Rush Green will help pupils understand the complexity of people’s lives, the process of change, the diversity of societies and relationships between different communities, as well as their own identity and challenges of their time.
